What is you coronavirus policy?

We’re taking the health and safety of all our guests extremely seriously, which is why we’ve taken additional steps to ensure all visitors are kept safe whilst at Halsons Bed and Breakfast.

What is you cancellation policy?

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, we are now operating a 24 hour cancellation policy so you can book your stay with confidence should any plans change or restrictions be imposed.

Do you have guest parking?

Yes, guest parking is in front of our garage directly outside the house and we ask all guests to park considerately to allow other guests room to park too.

Where can I find out about places to visit and eat?

We provide details of local attractions and places to eat and drink.

Do you cater for vegetarians?

Yes we have a vegetarian option and always do our best to cater for our guests requirements.

What time can I check in?

Preferably between 4 pm and 6.30pm but if this proves difficult for you then all we ask is that you let us know your expected time of arrival and we will do our best to accommodate this.

Check out is by 10.30am on the day of departure.

Do you have hairdryers in the rooms?

Yes, each room has a hairdryer.

Are there fridges in the rooms?

No, unfortunately we do not have fridges in the rooms, however, if guests need something refrigerated then we are happy to store it in our fridge if asked.

Do you provide toiletries in the rooms?

Yes, there is shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, hand soap and lotion in each room.

Are there tea and coffee making facilities in the room?

Yes, we offer tea and coffee making facilities in each room. We also provide tumblers, wine glasses and a bottle opener if you want to use your own cold drinks or alcohol.

What time is breakfast?

Breakfast is served between 8am and 9.00am Monday to Friday and 8.30am to 9.30 am Saturdays and Sundays.

Do you use local produce?

Yes, we locally source all products used for our catering.

Where is the nearest train station?

Axminster train station is approximately a 10 minute drive away.

Is there a local bus?

The bus stop in both directions is only a five minute walk from Halsons and buses run to Bridport, Dorchester, Weymouth and Lyme Regis.

Do you have Wi-Fi?

Yes we do have Wi-Fi.

Do you have TVs in the rooms?

Yes, each room has a TV and Freeview.

Do you cater for pets?

No, unfortunately we do not cater for pets.

Do you have a family room?

No, we are an adult only Bed and Breakfast.
